A total of 17 vessels carrying bulk wheat, fish, fertilizer, butane and fuel arrived the seaports between May and June.
Data obtained from the Nigerian Ports Authority Shipping Position on Saturday, showed that the vessels called at the Lagos Pilotage District between May 20 and June 4.
For instance, on May 20, a Bluestar vessel, DongBang Giant no. 5, called at the Dan Q. Terminal, Lekki, with general cargo.
On May 21, a vessel, Snoway V.I called at the ENL terminal with general cargo, while on May 25, another vessel, Danos Z called at the ABTL terminal, Apapa with fertilizer.
On May 30, Dessert Dignity called at the ABTL Terminal 2 with bulk wheat, while Da Xiang, another vessel arrived on May 26 with general cargo.
Four vessels, Don Reefer, Silver Copenhagen, Nova Florida, Cool Expreso berthed with fresh fish within the same period.
Pyxis Epsilon and NaviG8 Topaz brought in fuel while Alfred Temile berthed with Butane.
According to the NPA, about 15 more vessels are expected to arrive the country with food, agricultural produce and gas.
